About Us

Our company was born from innovation. Duc Ngo, now JMango CTO, created what has become the JMango platform and the basis of our business. He worked with Ilan Oosting (CEO) and Allan Bennetto (COO) to form JMango – the company. In bringing the technology and the company to life, five key values were used – Ease, Reliability, Uniformity, Security and Cost Effectiveness. We continue to work by these values, putting our customers first and foremost.

Innovation is nothing without purpose. What makes JMango a world class performer is keeping our eye – not only on the ball – but ahead of the ball. When the notion of an app store was alien to most, we were already working on a platform that would write apps for multiple mobile devices and operating systems – all this before the iPhone was a glimmer in Cupertino. We understood that bringing mobile interaction to the palm of your hand was what the future has in store. What makes JMango different is exactly this – we were working on the base concepts and completely understand the mobile world; we are not a ‘me too’ company joining a bandwagon, the future of mobile is something that we’re helping to shape.

Our innovations continue, with NFC (Near field communication), QR codes, and HTML 5 already part of our platform. The flexibility this lends is not just in our hands, it’s in yours and your customers’ too.

Ilan Oosting
Ilan Oosting, CEO & Executive Director

Ilan, an enthusiastic and dynamic Dutchman, quickly understood the potential of Duc’s platform. A veteran of the telecommunications industry, Ilan gathered a small group of angel investors and set about transforming the seedling into a sustainable global business.

As CEO, Ilan is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the company, and securing alliances and partnerships with Telecom operators, distribution partners and content providers around the world. Ilan's drive and passion is second to none; as is his commitment to pushing mobile technology to the forefront of our daily lives.

Duc Ngo
Duc Ngo, Chief Technology Officer

As inventor of the JMango platform, there is no one more qualified to guide you on the best solution for your business. The prodigy emerged from the Deloitte Innovation Program, having planted the first JMango seed in 2006. This seed was planted with a view to making it easy to develop applications across multiple mobile operating systems.

The platform was spun out of Deloitte, and Duc asked to join the newly formed company and became JMango’s CTO. In this role, Duc currently oversees the Global Technology Department, including Platform Development, Product Development as well as the Innovation Lab.

Drew Fairchild
Drew Fairchild, Chief Finance Officer

Drew, a former Director and General Manager of Finance for Shell Australia Limited, is no stranger to the finesse of finance. Managing $2.5 billion in assets, Shell Australia generates in excess of $18 billion in revenue. This expertise has proven instrumental in facing the challenge of growing JMango into a global enterprise.

In his role as CFO, Drew manages the global finance, accounting operations, valuation and governance of the Company.

Allan Bennetto
Allan Bennetto, Chief Operations Officer

Along with Ilan, Allan also understood the platform’s potential, and was a driving force behind JMango from the beginning. Allan helped set the strategic direction of the company and transformed the business from a local entity to a global player.

As COO, Allan manages the global operations and strategic growth of the business and marketing across multiple regions. Naturally creative, he is able to find a relevant and engaging mobile solution for virtually any situation or industry.

Matthijs Tellegen
Matthijs Tellegen, Chief Commercial Officer

Matthijs has worked around the globe as Managing Director and senior executive for several fortune 500 companies, before he started his own international business development company. The entrepreneurial management expertise he brings comes from work within the consumer goods industry. A veteran of providing mass and luxury consumer goods, Matthijs understands JMango’s relevance to our end customers.

Joining the JMango stable in a newly created role as CCO, Matthijs is responsible for all aspects of business development, including market entry, legal, funding, marketing, and sales support.

Maarten Schuiling
Maarten Schuiling, Global Director of Sales & Executive Director

Maarten's experience from his long and decorated career as a broker in the financial industry brings a vast amount of selling knowledge to the business. Maarten’s innovative thinking allows for quick development cycles while delivering the best possible outcome for your business.

After establishing the JMango Europe operations, Maarten moved into the global sales role and is now primarily responsible for developing key client relationships and partnerships.


Development Team Approach

Just how do we put your service together? Let us tell you how we develop your project from a seedling into a fully grown fruit. Before you even commit to an application, we’ll work with you to understand and refine your requirements – we’ll even give you some documentation on what things could look like. Once you’re happy with what we could do, you offer your commitment. A rapid prototype is then created and sent to you within hours. If you like it, the development team will build it and test it in real time. We use agile methods, which mean you get plenty of opportunity to make sure we’re both on the right track. Integration is then built, such as a web portal or a back end – depending on your needs. Graphics and branding are now involved, making sure that the look and feel works for you, as well as enforcing brand values. Once you’re happy with this, you can release it to your customers. There’s no need to worry about not being in control or knowing what’s happening – our web interface lets you see what’s going on, and control what you need to. Now that the seedling has grown into a fruit, you may choose to wait for it to mature, or make a little tweak here or there. Either way, it’s easy.
